January 16th we celebrated 100 years. What a wonderful celebration. Members of the state board and their wifes along with 10 girls and their chaperone from the Illinois house at Mooseheart, local city, county and state officals were here to help us celebrate. Also in attendence were members from other lodges and chapters along with lots of members from Rock Island. The lodge was busy from opening to close. People played pool, shuffle board and bag toss. Music and kareoke was provided. The food was plentiful and everyone seemed to have a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone who helped make this a very "Special Day" for Rock Island Lodge 190!

That's $500,000 we then WON'T need to ask from the men and women of the Moose to help operate Mooseheart's school this year!

If you have a Facebook account (easy to set up), if you're 13 or older, and you're a U.S. resident -- just go to http://apps.facebook.com/KohlsCares, follow the directions to vote the maximum allowed FIVE (5) times for Mooseheart School -- and that's all there is to it!

If Mooseheart School finishes among the top 20 schools in nationwide voting, we'll receive a Kohl's Cares check, payable to Mooseheart School, in the amount of $500,000!
